Here is a quick guide to enable you to setup Google Web Toolkit in eclipse and start learning in no time. Follow the steps accompanied by images and you should have absolutely no problems.
Step 1 – Download Eclipse
If you do not already have Eclipse, you may download it from the Eclipse Website and Unzip the downloaded file at any location of your choice and double click the installer and you should see something like:
You can also opt for a zipped version where you won’t have to install. Just unzip and click the eclipse exe to start developing.
Step 2 – Install the GWT Plugin

Choose appropriate link as per your eclipse version and fill the details like shown in the image below.
After you click Ok, your popup should populate as:
Make the selections as shown in the image above and follow the steps to finish the installation.
After successful setup you will be able to see the GWT icon on you eclipse.
If you see this icon, congratulations!!! you have successfully installed the GWT plugin in your Eclipse IDE and your are now ready to develop your first GWT web application.
